LUMBER BARON INN EARNS FODOR’S BEST AWARD FROM FODOR’S TRAVEL

Denver, CO – June 28, 2018 Fodor’s, the leading name in travel guides for over 80 years, has announced that The Lumber Baron Inn has been awarded a Fodor’s Best as one of the 4 Best Bed and Breakfasts in Denver.

Every year, the editors and experts of Fodor’s evaluate thousands of hotels across the globe. While every hotel listed in a Fodor’s guide is deemed worthy of a traveler’s time, only those offering a truly distinctive experience are given the Fodor’s Best designation. The Fodor’s Best hotel recipients are the best of the best providing a remarkable experience in their category.

As a Fodor’s Best recipient, The Lumber Baron Inn will receive special recognition on Fodors.com in the Best Bed and Breakfast category.

“I grew up in North Denver and have always been an admirer of the house and all the amazing architecture in the neighborhood.” Joel Bryant, chef and co-owner of the Lumber Baron shared. “I studied history at the University of Colorado and have always had a passion for Denver and Colorado history.  When the Lumber went up for sale my wife Elaine and I were very excited about taking on this new journey. There were so many signs that this was the right move for us and it seemed as if the house really wanted US to purchase it. We try to make every guest feel as if this is their second home, and I think we do a really good job with that. We love getting to know our guests and have many invites to visit people who have stayed with us from around the globe!  We also offer custom wine dinners, brunch on Sunday, and high tea every day (all with 24 hr reservations).”
